About Hearts of Moms
Hearts of Mom Blog is an extension of theHeart2Heart Mothers’ Fellowship.
Heart2Heart Mothers’ Fellowship is a Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC) Ministry to mothers.
We meet twice a month during the school term, on a Friday morning 9:00-11:30am at our church Conference Rooms.
Hearts of Moms blog is set up for moms with a heart for building up their families.
We want to be moms who depend on God to build our homes – to nurture and to equip our children to make an impact for God. We want to be moms transformed by the Lord so that we can know the good and perfect will of the Father for ourselves and our family.
The mommy version of Romans 12:2 ~
“Don’t copy the parenting fads, behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new mommy by changing the way you think about yourself, about mommyhood, about your child, about your family and all the issues and concerns of a mom. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, your child and family, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
It is our prayer that we, moms will allow God to transform our minds and allow him to build our homes, for th sake of our children, for the sake of His glory.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. ~ Psalm 127:1
Here on this blog, we will share resources with you to help you with learning and renewing our minds with God’s narratives in being a mom. And we will also post meeting reminders and meeting recaps from our time together at BRMC Heart2Heart Mothers’ Fellowship so that our minds can be constantly renewed by God’s narratives and teachings.
